1. All the documents should be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Pakistan.
2. All Educational Certificates/Degrees should be attested by the concern authorities as follows:
2.1. Secondary School Certificate, Higher Secondary School Certificate, School/College Leaving Certificates, Diplomas, Technical Diplomas, etc should be attested by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC), Federal Board, H-8, Islamabad, Pakistan.
2.2. All the degrees should be attested by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), H-9, Islamabad, Pakistan.
2.3. All the foreign certificates/degrees should be first attested by the concern Mission (High Commission or Embassy) and then by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Pakistan.
3. All other documents including Experience Certificates, Character Certificates, Medical Certificates, Special/General/Trade Power of Attorneys, Contracts/ Deeds/Agreements, Trade Agreements, Birth/Death Certificates. Driving License, Succession/Guardianship Certificates, Judicial Verdicts, Affidavits, Certificate of Origins, Invoices, Companies Board Resolutions, Memorandums and Articles of Associations should be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
4. Invoices, Certificate of Origins, Memorandums and Articles of Associations should be attested by the concern Chamber of Commerce & Industries.
Few important points :
• Any document or letter addressed to an individual or a company will not be attested.
• National Identity Cards / Passports will not be attested.
• All documents in Urdu should be translated into Arabic and the same will have to be attested along with original paying separate fee for each.
• Translation in Arabic of Judicial Verdicts (Special/General/Trade Power of Attorneys, Succession/Guardianship Certificates, Affidavit, etc) is required along with the original paying separate fee for each.
• Translations should be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Pakistan
• This Embassy can only legalize Pakistani documents attested by the competent officers at the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs
• Educational degrees are to be attested by Ministry of Education and subsequently by the competent officers at the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
• Make sure, before getting your translated documents attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that there are no translation errors.
• Documents are attested by the Consular section at the Embassy of UAE in Islamabad and the Consulate General in Karachi through authorized agents. The Embassy does not receive any kind of documents for attestation.
